Edi Gathegi really is a trooper for the Twilight Fans!

Ok, after the NJ Twilight Convention I have such a new appreciation for Edi Gathegi. He was so awesome! His Q&A session was hilarious, you can tell that he has seen all of Eddie Murphy's old school stand-ups because he definitely likes to act like him on stage! I heart Edi! I find it funny that I have posted like 3 twilight tweet updates today because during his Q&A he mentioned that he never ever ever ever thought that he would use twitter. But then he started to use it to keep in touch with his family. And I vowed to the great twilight Gods that I would never be caught tweeting . . . . . . . and here I am you twitter addicts! Uggggghhhh what I do for the love of Edward and all things twilighty! So sorry for the long speech, here are some of Edi's latest tweets.

My favorite tweet was when he says "Chillax like Yorkie"! LOL now that is a real Twilight Movie reference that proves he paid attention to the movie, I love him! Eclipse Scene! Bella & Renee film Florida scene

Check out this post on the Twi-Fans blog about the Florida scene in Eclipse. I honestly never really thought about this scene being in the movie, I mean I guess this is the point where Renee gets a weird vibe between Edward and Bella but I never thought it would make it into the movie. If you look at the story, you will see a close-up of KStew's wig, and I think it looks terrible. I mean why didn't she just wear a mullet wig for the Joan Jett movie?! So that she didn't have to cut her hair, I mean she has to know that The Twilight movies are making her career, right? I dunno.

I think she looks pretty - ya up close you can totally see it's a wig but her face looks pretty. I agree with you tho, I would have rather had a mullet wig than this. I really really wanted this to be more romantic in the book. Like Edward and Bella go for a walk at night on the beach or something, I hope they add a little bit more to it in the movie to make the trip a little more romantic. I can not wait to see Eclipse - Geez I am counting down the days for New Moon still!

New Twilight Wooden Desk Calendar Review

Kristie and I both bought one of these at the Twilight Convention in NJ this past weekend. I've only ever seen them on-line and currently they are selling on ebay for like $40 and we got them for a great deal - $20! Plus, this is something you can use each year, I do have one of the New Moon calendars but after the year is up it's no longer valid. I like how this is good for every year. Check out my pics.

It's hard being the only 2 people we know who are addicted to The Saga, so now we have more people to feed our little addiction! My Alex Meraz Twilight Convention Photo Op was so awesome!

Quick update, my wolfpack photo op with Chaske Spencer, Kiowa Gordon and Alex Meraz at the Twilight Convention NJ was way awesome and so worth it! I got to hug Alex and he is so muscley! Twilight Jewelry and Alice Cullens fingerless gloves from New Moon

Twilight Convention New Jersey - or bust!

Alright, finally! Kristie and I are leaving for The Twilight convention in New Jersey in 3.5 hrs! Whooo hoooo! Ok, I know this pic is old news, but I find myself always looking back at it *blush!

I mean not only is he like super buff and hot looking, but his man goodies are swinging like an elephant trunk. When I look at the above pic, this is what I see . . .

That is a very, VERY detailed outline of his swangy swang! It’s basically waving at us, his baby arm is waving at us and saying “Hey ladies! Have a good looksie!” Don’t mind if I do Kellan, don’t mind if I do . . . . He could have so put on a pair of boxers, he’s basically running in the nude. Just do us a favor Kellan and go all the way, just start running in your wife beater and a couple of ear buds in, ok? When Kristie and I were watching the Teen Choice Awards and Taylor came on, I first fainted at how adorable he looked in his little vest, then realized that my BF has a pair of jeans that are basically identical! Bella's Wedding Dress

*Spoiler for Breaking Dawn*

Bella's dress is described by her mother in Breaking Dawn as the following,

“Oh, Bella!” she squealed now, gushing before she was all the way through the door. “Oh, honey, you’re so beautiful! Oh, I’m going to cry! Alice, you’re amazing! You and Esme should go into business as wedding planners. Where did you find this dress? It’s gorgeous! So graceful, so elegant. Bella, you look like you just stepped out of an Austen movie.” My mother’s voice sounded a little distance away, and everything in the room was slightly blurry. “Such a creative idea, designing the theme around Bella’s ring. So romantic! To think it’s been in Edward’s family since the eighteen hundreds!”

I didn't picture Bella's wedding dress like the above, or the other dresses featured on the JaneAustenWorld website. In Breaking Dawn Bella describes some of the dresses detail. . .
"Alice made me stand so that she could ease the dress over my hair and makeup. My knees shook so badly as she fastened the long line of pearl buttons up my back that the satin quivered in little wavelets down to the floor."
Later Bella also descibes that the dress has "shiny fabric". I personally pictured a vintage dress like the photos below.

This Rosemary Leigh dress by Maggie Sottero is a modern take on a vintage classic. Although the dress ties in the back, I think it fits better with the elegant description of the dress. I'm not sure how I feel about the sleeves but it is not likely to find a dress from the early 1900's without sleeves of kind, long or short.

This White Piere Balmain dress worn by Penelope Cruz is classic and vintage. She wore it for the 2009 Oscars. I don't see Bella in this strapless top but I think the skirt of the dress looks like something intricate and beautiful that Alice would pick out.
