Rolling Stone descibes the Twilight books as "the love triangle between a girl from a broken home, an overprotective vampire who has intimacy issues and an amorous werewold stuck in the friend zone."

They decribe Lautner with a "squeaky-clean Disney -worthy reputation that we are attempting to ruin."

Lautner isnt really a star.  Right now, he is a phenomenon.  Out side the home where he lives with his parents and sister, there can be as many as 12 paparazzi vehicles lurking.  There have been three books written about him countless fan websites and every week the tabloids offer fresh speculation on his rumored relationship with Taylor Swift.

"Your saw New Moon?!" Lautner exclaims, grinning widely.  "I haven't even seen the movie yet.  How was the CGI?  How do the wolves look?  How about the back flip at the end where I turn into a wolf?"  - "So I just jump and poof into a woof?"  he continues his barrage of questions as he executes a perfect double flip.

There are two kinds of child stars: the Lindsay Lohans and the Zac Efrons.  Lohans are interesting but unstable and depressed, while the Efrons are boring but grounded and happy.  Lautner is most definitely an Efron.

He has an inner stillness and solidity that are surprising for his age, and he tens to communicate more with his thick, low slung eyebrows than with words.  At times, his laconic nature is unsettling:  Questions that require deeper thought are responded to with a smiling "I got you" (which he says 18 times) or a "there you go" (9 times).  Sometimes even an "Oh my" (3 times)  All of which translate as "I understand but I'm either not going to reply or dont how how to reply.  With such polite and seemingly obvious responses, it sometimes appears is if Lautner has taken a press-training course in evading answers.  That is until one speaks to his father- and notices that they have the same "aw shucks" speaking voice and answers queries with the same vagueness.

New Moon Movie Mistakes

Bella's bite mark scar is not in the position it should be, compared to where James actually bit her in Twilight.

At Bella's birthday party, when Edward pushes Jasper away after attacking Bella, Emmett turns his head to follow Jasper flying through the air. But in the next shot, he is looking in front of him as though he didn't see anything.

When Bella is in the parking lot at school in the beginning, Edward walks toward her. Bella's hair is neatly pulled off to the side. When he leans in for the kiss it is suddenly stuck to her forehead, and when Edward tells her Jacob wants her, it's suddenly back to normal.

Just as Jacob enters Bella's room through the window, a stunt prop - white band on his right wrist - is briefly visible.

In the opening sequence of the moon changing phase to reveal the "New Moon" title, the moon is actually upside down. Easiest way to tell is because the Tycho crater appears on the top-right as opposed to bottom-left as it is visible from earth.

When Jacob first shows off his tattoo, it is up at the top of his shoulder. Then when he is in the forest at the end with Bella and Edward, his tattoo is about 2 inches further down his arm.

When Sam comes into the house and kisses his fiance, you can see the ripples in the edges of the plastic film used to put the tattoo on his arm.
