Tate Ellington - Aidan in Remember Me talks Robert Pattinson

BEING mobbed every time you leave the house is all in a day's work for Robert Pattinson.
But for Tate Ellington, who played Robert Pattinson's on-screen best friend in Remember Me, thousands of screaming fans following you down the street is one helluva terrifying experience.
OK.co.uk's Nicola McCafferty spent an evening chatting with Tate, the self-effacing actor who starred as Aidan Hall, about what life is like for the Twilight hunk; how tricky it is working with him and how they escaped the hysteria...
What was it like working with Rob on Remember Me, did you guys strike up an instant rapport?
"Yeah I think so [I hope so]! I met Rob at the screen test and luckily I wasn't too nervous that day as I was like I probably won't get the job so...
"But when I got the job and I met him again, he was automatically as nice as can be and I had to make a point to be more talkative as I can be really shy, and Rob had a bit of shyness too.
"I was happy he wasn't like this big jerk coming into the room and he was utterly always so humble and nice about everything."
You played Rob's best friend in the movie, did you guys spend time getting to know each other in preparation?
"After I got the job we had a couple of times where we would go to the hotel where he was staying and get to know each other.
"We sat around and had a beer and just chatted - it was good.
"I felt very comfortable with him from the get go. And I met Emilie de Ravin not long after, and automatically we were all jerking around!"

There's practically nothing we don't already know about Robert Pattinson. Well, the dude still has a secret or two, trust. But what about the man behind the man? His BFF, Tom Sturridge?
The British actor has been spotted out on the town with pal R.Pattz (and K.Stew, too!) a number of times, but except for the occasional paparazzi swarm or shirt-swapping shenanigans, has been able to escape the Twilight-adjacent limelight.
Have no fear there, 'cause we dug up some deets on the dude! Read on for some fun juice on the besties better known as TomStu:
He's big in England. While TomStu might not have his puss plastered on pillow cases like his famous fanged pals, he's a pretty well-known actor in the U.K. The dude has appeared in a slew of films with big-time Brit stars and nabbed the Best Newcomer award from the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards for his stage debut, Punk Rock. Hell, he even has his own U.K. celebrity iTunes playlist. Does it get more prestigious than that?
K.Stew ain't the only gal pal to Tom and Rob. Tommy helped send the Robsten-addicts into a tizzy after he was spotted slipping out of a club with Kristen Stewart recently, as if a guy can't be friends with his buddy's GF (please). But K.Stew isn't the first babe the two have been spotted out on the town with, how very interesting. The two share an amiga in Camilla Belle, who in the past, both guys have been linked up with, romantically speaking, though neither coupling ever admitted to dating.
He was fired for Hayden Christensen. Tom could have made his State-side debut (and crossed paths with Kristen) years ago, had the execs of the action flick Jumper not decided the mostly unknown actor couldn't carry a $100 million dollar movie. Two weeks before shooting began, the dude was dumped for Hayden. That's Hollywood for you—but Tom got a second chance at costarring with Rachel Bilson in their new film, Waiting for Forever, which is currently making the idie circuits. And really, who's getting talked about more these days, Tom or Hayden?
He got his latest part thanks to Rob. Speaking of Waiting for Forever, Tom can thank Rob for helping him land the role. See, the director of the film originally wanted R.Pattz himself to play the hopeless romantic lead—who wouldn't?—but when Tom found the script while crashing at Rob's place, he decided he could play the part better. And eventually the studio agreed.
He has no plans to work with Rob. While Tom may snatch scripts from Rob, he has no plans to team up with his friend in a film anytime soon. When asked on a German radio station whether he would work with Robert, Tom said, "I spend so much time with Rob already, I can't work with him, too!" Funny thing is the two (kind of) already did work together. See, Tom was in Vanity Fair with Reese Witherspoon, which Rob also filmed scenes for (though his were later cut).
But now Rob's working with Reese on Water for Elephants. Small world for these two, huh?

Too Funny Not To Post - Kristen Striptease for Rob
ya I could just see Kristen and Rob telling some "source" this... righttttt. If all you have to is make up lies you "hear from some insider" I would love to get paid for some stories - sign me up!
Well, well, well, Kristen Stewart sure is a dark horse! The actress who plays clumsy Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga, has reportedly been practising stripper moves on her rumoured boyfriend, Robert Pattinson.

Breaking Dawn Deets
SAN DIEGO — For the first time since 2007, there was no official "Twilight" presence at the Comic-Con panels this year. But screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg was in attendance, and she was more than willing to take a break from the convention to chat with MTV News about her upcoming work on "Breaking Dawn." The two films are set to start shooting back-to-back in November, and Rosenberg said she is still working on finalizing the script. Fans have been most concerned with how Bella's (Kristen Stewart) pivotal, not to mention traumatic, birthing scene will be portrayed in the movie, and Rosenberg said she and director Bill Condon are continually revising the script to make it work. Despite an earlier comment, she said the scene will be included, but the specifics of how it will be represented have not been solidified yet.
"I've written and continue to rewrite it, working on it with Bill Condon ... He has a vision as well, but it's kind of a shared vision I would say, but ultimately it comes down to, what does he actually want to see?" she said. "I know what I want to see, which is, I want to see the terror of the experience. I want to have the experience of the fear and feel her pain. I want to feel everyone's pain in this."
Still, Rosenberg said that there are some of the gruesome elements of the scene — like Edward (Robert Pattinson) having to give Bella what has been dubbed a "vampire caesarian" — that she doesn't think need to be included in the scene. "I want it to be visceral, so that is what's most important. Do I want to see teeth in placenta? No," she said. "Someone else may. I don't actually want to see that, but to each his own."
Another of the other big scenes in "Breaking Dawn" that has been the subject of some controversy is the imprinting scene. It features Jacob (Taylor Lautner) having what Rosenberg describes as a "spiritual experience" with Bella's newborn child that ultimately leads to the revelation that the infant is his soul mate.
"One must be very careful with that," Rosenberg said about the scene, "but hopefully you've taken this ride with Jacob for all four movies; you know Jacob, and so I think you'll experience it the way he does, which is spiritually, as a spiritual experience, as an emotional experience and not something that makes one uncomfortable."

Robert Pattinson had a book and a Coke Zero yesterday to keep himself busy during a break from working on Water for Elephants in California. It was Rob's second day in a row of shooting, as he spent his Monday afternoon hard at work on scenes at UCLA. Rob's returned to filming after having the weekend off to hang out with friends and check out a screening of Angelina Jolie's Salt. He's decked out in period costumes for the movie, but it's Rob's off-duty style that's inspiring a new collection of underwear — the British retailer Marks & Spencer is apparently releasing the R-Pant, which is a line of slim-fitting boxer briefs that fit under men's skinny jeans. Their shops are where Rob likes to buy his own intimate wear, as he was spotted making a few purchases there earlier this year with his BFF Tom Sturridge.

In 2008, she tried something different (sort of) by retelling the events of the first books, only from Edward's point of view. Sooner than you can say "glittering vampire," 12 unfinished chapters from the new manuscript, Midnight Sun, appeared on the Internet. "I think it is important for everybody to understand that what happened was a huge violation of my rights as an author, not to mention me as a human being," Meyer said in a message to fans. Rather than punish her loyal following, Meyer posted her entire unfinished Midnight Sun draft on her website. The only catch is that it's unprintable — better bring an e-reader.

He chopped off a chunk of his hair and taped it to a stick to form a paintbrush and melted down crayons to use as paint. When Alex's Mom got home to see the passion he had for painting, she saved up the money they needed to purchase him art supplies."
