A new movie is coming to the Hallmark Channel this weekend starring Jennie Garth. "Accidentally in Love" will air on Channel 130 in Tempe, and it will co-star Ethan Erickson. None other than Peter Facinelli, Jennie's husband and star of the "Twilight" films as Dr. Carlisle Cullen, wrote the script for the film.
He also planned to star in the film alongside his wife, but he was doing press for "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" while the television film was in production. He said the following about writing the script and deciding not to star in it as planned, according to Entertainment Online:
"I also worried that this would become the Jennie Garth/Peter Facinelli movie instead of a film with two characters. Our playing together could have detracted from the believability of the story and become a distraction. So I took a step back and let my wife kiss someone else."
"Accidentally in Love" will air on The Hallmark Channel 130 in Tempe at 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12.
