Twilight Star 'Carmen' from #BreakingDawn Scores New Role!

Things are going to get savage for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" star Mia Maestro.


The Hollywood Reporter has the news that Maestro, who plays new vamp Carmen in "Breaking Dawn," has joined the cast of Oliver Stone's latest "Savages." She will be playing Benicio Del Toro's wife in the ensemble flick. Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson and Blake Lively also star in the drama.

Taylor Lautner in Funny or Die

Taylor Lautner will appear in a short video for the site on Wednesday, July 6.


Taylor Lautner is a man of many talents. The teen heartthrob, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga, will take on his first action role in the upcoming thriller Abduction. In the meantime, the past SNL guest host is once again flexing his funny bone.

In a new photo making the Internet rounds, Lautner is seen hanging out with several football players as he films a sketch for Funny or Die. In a tweet from Nick Jonas, we learn that Lautner has decided to go pro.

"Why is Taylor Lautner trying out for the NFL?!?" the JoBro tweeted. "Find out next Wednesday on Funny or Die."
Well, it can't be for lack of a movie career.

Earlier this summer, Lautner starred alongside Jason Sudeikis and Eva Mendes in a hilarious Hangover: Part II parody for the MTV Movie Awards. Last year, he and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson came face to face with Tom Cruise (as Les Grossman) for another MTV skit.

So I got a little #Twilight crazy today......

Today, in preparation for Kristie and my sleepover tonite, we were talking about the Twilight items that we really love. Most of Twi-merch is crap in all honesty. But we decided the things we really love and like having are our books, DVDs, Soundtrack CDs, and the Illustrated Movie Companions for each movie.

(on a side note Kristie collects the Twilight Barbies and I collect the trading cards so those are our allowable frivolous Twi items hehehe)

Well, neither one of us has the Twilight Special Edition DVD that Borders released. We both have the Target versions. The Borders edition came in really cute packaging and came with some photo cards, it matches their New Moon version. Borders did not release a matching Eclipse version, but Target picked up their slack and released one that matches flawlessly. So today I FINALLY purchased the Twilight Special Edition DVD ! Apparently I was in a buying mood today, because I also bought the following Twilight DVDs.


Music Videos and Performances from The Twilight Saga Soundtracks, Vol. 1 got this one for $8.84 new with free amazon prime shipping. Gotta love amazon prime! I've never seen this yet, excited to rock out to it.


Destination Forks: Real World of Twilight Got this one for $6.99 new with free amazon prime shipping. This is another one I have yet to see. Heard it was okay.


Twilight in Forks-Saga of the Real Town Got this one for $3.91 used with free amazon prime shipping. It was listed as "like new" but I don't really care as I've seen this already and it was ok and I probably won't watch it again. But I still wanted it for my Twi-DVD collection.

So yea, the last DVD I bought was Eclipse and I bought 4 today lol. I never buy movies anymore ;)

On Saturday I caught my cat Jack Baeur reading my Vampire Diaries book, she has good taste and is adorable.

Kristie and I are slumbering it tomorrow night! My BF will be out of town on business so I figured we could have some girl time and OF COURSE vampires are going to be involved somehow.

We are undecided on whether or not to have a Vampire Diaries season 1 marathon OR watch all the Twilight movies in a row....... any ideas? What would you guys watch?

Jackson Rathbone Talks #BreakingDawn

According to Zimbio Jackson Rathbone mentions Breaking Dawn:

Twilight lovers all over the world are going to be very saddened when the series wraps up with the last installment, Breaking Dawn, later this year. If it offers any solace, vampire star Jackson Rathbone has said the last flick will be a very fulfilling wrap-up.


He said the final two Twilight films will be "the culmination of this saga, and it really wraps up the story in such a beautiful way. We had the amazing [director] Bill Condon on, and I was very, very excited to play Jasper once again in these films and kind of step up."

Rathbone said he's most excited to show Jasper's devotion to his own family, referring to an "amazing moment" in Breaking Dawn, though he couldnt' specify which film it is in. He expands that there is a very "fulfilling moment" for himself as a character and a fan of the books and that you will "really see how much these characters love each other."

Xavier Samuel Joins Cast of 'Drift'

TWILIGHT'S Xavier Samuel is set to join Sam Worthington in new surfing flick, Drift.


Xavier Samuel is trading in his fangs for a surfboard, as Variety reports the Twilight star has joined the cast of Drift, an Aussie surf drama starring Sam Worthington.

Set in the 1970s, Drift follows two brothers who open a surf shop and end up building an empire. The film will be directed by Ben Nott and Morgan O’Neill, who also wrote the script.
Samuel retreated back to his native Australia after a breakout role playing vampire Riley in the third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse in 2009.

Rumor: Robert Pattinson 'snubbed' in Toronto

CELEBS Reports:

On Thursday night, he hit the town with a couple of guys (and girls!). But it wasn't the company that Pattinson kept that was the most significant. Rather, it was the fact that he and his friends almost weren't granted entry into a local Toronto nightspot.


Could it be true? One of the hottest young actors, who has Breaking Dawn and other blockbuster flicks to his name, didn't make the list for a party hosted by Vice magazine at The Poor Alex. Forget The Twilight Saga, this was a serious case of the twilight zone!

In all fairness, Pattinson probably showed up unannounced and it's possible (although very hard to believe!) that no one recognized him. He was apparently pretty incognito, wearing a baseball hat and brown jacket. The most notable two things missing? His favorite plaid pattern, a signature fashion statement for him, and his girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who probably would have gotten a kick out of no one recognizing or caring about her boyfriend.

His baseball cap "disguise" would have never detracted attention in Hollywood! A magazine like Vice should be more up on their celeb spotting. The glossy lived up to its name and committed a major "vice" of its own with this major misstep.

Nevertheless, everything seemed to be copacetic by the end of the night. Not one to raise a ruckus, Robert Pattinson played it cool while waiting outside in the party line, despite the snub. His group kept everything on the down-low and "took a security guard around the corner to chat with him and a while later they ended up getting in," said a source.

Who knows, perhaps Robert Pattinson was loving the fact that he was able to be a "normal" guy for a short period of time, and that no one "really cared or knew who he was," according to the insider.

Well who the hell knows how much of this is true, probably none of it but I'm just throwin the info out there.  For Rob's sake it would be nice to not be recognized once in a while and have a normal night out with friends.  Ps how do I become one of those friends lol

Rumors Undone: Robert Pattinson will NOT be playing 'Jeff Buckley'

Irish Central Reports:

Despite earlier rumors it seems Robert Pattinson will not be recreating the eternal legend of Jeff Buckley in the new biopic.


“Gossip Girl” star Penn Badgley has reportedly been cast ahead of the “Twilight” star.

Producers were eager to cast an actor who also played the guitar and could sing. Pattinson himself plays both the piano and guitar as well as being a talented singer, but it believed that

Badgley was chosen, as he voice sounds similar to the late Buckley.

Was playing Charlotte an antidote to playing Esme, the picture of maternal perfection?

That was exactly it. I was fascinated with someone who would behave like that, who was clearly free of inhibitions, who’s okay with herself and is not a perfect mother. Esme is perfect. There’s not a bad word you can say about Esme. She does everything right. She just loves with every ounce of her being, while Charlotte is drunk, walking around in a negligee and tickling her daughter’s underage boyfriend! [Laughs.] I think women who don’t understand boundaries are fascinating. I sort of modeled her after a girlfriend of mine who is the most fun, the most outrageous, life of the party — hang out with her and you will end up in the hot tub at the end of the night. And that’s what I thought about in terms of Charlotte. It was a little bit of a leap for me, that scene in the garden where I tickle Freddie Highmore, because I kept thinking of him as the boy from Finding Neverland. But he’s not a boy. He’s a young man.

Did she pepper you with Twilight questions?

Yes! She’s a bit of a Twihard. I remember she was Team Jacob at one point. She definitely played it cool, though. Those movies, I’m always surprised when older kids are obsessed with them. You’d think they’d be too-cool-for-school for them. But the films seem to capture all ages. I’ve met a lot of Twi-Moms. I get a little uncomfortable when they start talking about Taylor Lautner’s body, because I’m like, “He’s a baby! Don’t talk about him like that!” But the movies definitely capture the imagination of even older women. I’m 35, so I guess I would be a Twi-Mom

True Blood is about to start up again. Are you a fan, considering the show shares Twilight’s vegetarian-vampire idea?

I love True Blood! I’m definitely Team Eric. And Team Alcide. I must say, I just love how he’s protective of her and sweet to her. The way Bill betrayed Sookie, that was so upsetting. I didn’t even expect that at all. And I love Anna Paquin. She’s such an odd, cool character. It seems so completely outside of the world of Twilight. I mean, theirs is so much more sexy!

I'm reading book 2,3,4 of The Vampire Diaries #TVD

For my last birthday Kristie bought me book 1 of The Vampire Diaries. It was OK but I knew going in it was nothing like the TV series. I just never continued on with them, but look what inpicked up at the library last night......


So I started book 2 and I already like it way better than 1, they are 2 books in one. Maybe because I have the 2nd season of VD under my belt it has changed my view on these? Damon seems more like Damon from the show now, I like that!

And don't worry, Edward is never far from me. Even when I am cheating on him with Damon and Stefan!


He's my most fav bookmark. I'll let you know how in like them once I'm done. How about you? Have you read them and what do you think?
