Ok, so we are still months away from the theatrical release of Breaking Dawn Pt 2 and we are already hearing rumors about what extras will appear on the DVD coming out in Spring 2013. Oh my goodness! Can we just get to November already
for fucks sake?! Here's what I've read so far:
"You've probably already heard about the cast dance number surprise which took place during filming (so the story goes, some of the castmembers got together and choreographed a little surprise dance number which they then surprised director Bill Condon with on the set after filming began to roll), but in this week's issue of EW, Condon himself revealed another one."
I'm equal parts
excited to see this and
embarrassed for the participating cast members. Pretty sure none of them can dance so it could be potentially catastrophic to their future careers.....ok maybean exaggeration but still. It could be a big ol EPIC fail.
The next rumor is
exactly what I feared would end up being in the movie.
Thank the Twilight Gods that they smartened up and chose a different route.....
"As explained by Bill Condon to EW, the filmmakers tinkered with a robotic version of Renesmee - used to portray one of the many rapid growth stages the character undergoes during the film - and it was a disaster ... a creepy disaster at that.
"Truly, it was one of the most grotesque things I've ever seen. It was a horror show! there was one shot where I call 'Cut!' and suddenly she turns her head and mechanically stares right into the camera. It was incredibly disturbing," Condon explained, promising the publication that he'd work to get it into the DVD extras for Part 2."
OH. MY. GAWD. How terrible would that have been?! K and I were going to protest BD 2 if any sort of robotic baby monster creature was going to be in the movies. We were really praying for no CGI baby. There was a little in BD 1 and luckily is wasn't
too bad....I say too bad because I didn't really like it all that much, but it could have been a lot worse.
